Greg Lovell - IN, USA
Greg is a lifelong outdoorsman who grew up hunting, fishing, trapping, golfing, gardening and camping in Northeast Indiana. While in college, his love of golf and working outside lead him to a summer job on the grounds crew at Fort Wayne Country Club in May 1995. That fall semester, Greg changed his major from Math and P.E. to Turf Science.
In January 1997, after graduating with a B.S. in Turf Science from Purdue University West Lafayette, he accepted a position at Fort Wayne C.C. While working there under Brian Chalifoux, in addition to their golf course responsibilities, they gained three Audubon International certificates, converted some out of play rough areas to five native prairies totaling seven acres, naturalized two pond banks, and installed bluebird and wood duck boxes throughout the property.
In 2005, after 10 years at Fort Wayne C.C., Greg accepted a sales job with a turf chemical distributor. In addition to calling on golf courses, he worked with three restoration and native plant companies to improve their plants, seed production, and installation practices. Greg served on the Board of Directors for the Midwest Regional Turf Foundation for eight years, serving as President in 2015.
In 2017, after 12 years in distribution, Greg accepted the job of Eastern Midwest Territory Manager for Aquatrols. Greg joined The Fairways Foundation Board of Directors in July of 2020. When not working, he enjoys the outdoors and spending time with his wife of 22 years, Toni, daughter Sophie (16), and son Samuel (14).
Louise Amos - Oxford, UK
Louise grew up in the outdoors with horses being her main passion for the majority of her life. This love, along with being lucky enough to grow up in an unspoilt quiet corner of English countryside brought about a deeply ingrained appreciation for green spaces.
Louise’s career has somehow always journeyed towards the golf industry in various roles, including event management and now Communications Manager for Aquatrols.
Having been on the board since 2020, Louise’s involvement in The FairWays Foundation has steadily increased to now holding the position of Vice President and also managing the foundation on a day-to-day basis.
In her spare time, Louise can be found with her horses, dogs and 2 year old son.
Colleen Clifford - NJ, USA
Colleen is a lifelong gardener with a particular interest in native plants and their role in maintaining healthy ecosystems. Raised in a family with a long-held appreciation for growing things, she spent much of her childhood planting seeds, tending gardens and developing a fascination for how things grow.
With over 20 years as Marketing Manager with Aquatrols, Colleen has been able to bring together her passions for plants, science and design into a single role that is both personally and professionally rewarding. As a member of The FairWays Foundation board, she is happy to extend that knowledge and passion toward helping others conserve and steward our natural resources.
Outside of work, you will most likely find Colleen in the garden covered in dirt, or with her nose in a good book.
